What Curriculum do you follow?

How will my child spend their day at Tiny Town Nursery?

Your child will be doing age appropriate activities that coincides with the EYFS. The classes have a morning snack and a lunch time snack. For full day children they will have an additional snack in the afternoon. Classes also have time slots for the outdoor play area, as well as occasionally teaming up with other classes for fun activities!

Do you provide a settling in programme?

We have orientation days where new pupils and parents will be able to come in and meet the teacher, get acquainted with their new classroom and surroundings.

The teacher will speak to you personally and will create a settling in plan that is specifically made for your child. We have a Settling In Policy that you can find on our Policies and Procedures Page.

Are your Teachers qualified?

Yes, all of our teachers are fully qualified with either a relevant diploma or degree. Our teachers are always going on Continuous Professional Development training as well as having in house training. You will be able to see all of the staff certificates around the Nursery.

Of course, all of our staff are Paediatric First Aid trained. We also have two qualified Nurses in the building.

What packages do you provide?

We have a variety of different packages to accommodate you and your child which are; morning, half day, full day and afternoon packages.

Do you have a bus transportation service?

Yes, we have a bus transportation service.

What communication do you have with parents?

At Tiny Town Nursery we have daily communication with parents at the door and via our app which updates you with pictures and information about your child’s mood, food, activities and anything else that you may need to know.

We also have a termly parent teacher meeting which happens at the end of the term where a progress report is prepared and discussed with you.

Can I come and visit the Nursery?

Of course! You can book yourself in for a tour by calling us on 04 883 0175.

What is provided in the starter pack?

Your child will be given particular coloured t-shirts to wear depending on which class they are in. For example, Red House pupils will have red coloured t-shirts.

Your child will also be given a lunch box and spare kit bag. Please ensure you bring in spare clothes for your child.

Do you provide anything for children with additional needs?

We have teamed up with a company called PACE who will be providing free assessment for all Tiny Town Nursery children.

‘The PACE Centre provides a unique individualised learning experience to children with special needs in a systems based therapy and learning environment.’

They will be coming in to provide in house sessions for our pupils who wish to sign up.
